Wassup people!!! Today was our 2nd gig, which was held at HELP College. First thing,we went to Akarkarya at 12pm to practice all our songs. We brought Darren Ashley to sing and play in our band, so he kinda helped us improve a lot from the previous gig. After practicing,we went to had McD for our late lunch. We kinda did something we'd not done before,we take out 1 of our guitar and plugin into the amplifier,Darren played some songs, that time we were still in McD eating our food. The customers didn't bother us.Since its already 3.30,we faster pack up and take our equipments and put it in the car. After that we went to Yamaha Damasara Perdana to pick up Derrick's cymbals bag,it was raining heavily that time,& we're afraid there's gonna be jams,so we rush back to Josh's house to pick up some extra amplifiers. It was 4.45pm already,we were late and theres traffic jam.We rush to HELP College, but we lost our way and we took 3 rounds to look for the way to enter HELP College. We called our friend to come and lead us the way to it and that time was already 6pm which the event is almost starting. We finally reach there in time to set up our instruments. These are the equipments we brought to the performance. 3 amps,3 electric guitars,1 acoustic guitar,1 bass guitar, 4 cymbals and 2 stands,we brought too many equipments and it was load fully into the MPV,we almost had no place to fit 5 guys in the car.We played during their dinner time, before that they had couple of different type of dances. After that we had games for the college youths, they pick some guys and girls and pair them up.The guys gotta dance for the girls til she is impressed and in other way,the girls gotta dance for the guys til he is impressed,so that was the game they played. And finally it was dinner time and it was our turn to perform. We played "Meant To Live" and "We Are One Tonight" by Switchfoot. Before we started playing,Darren did some beatboxing to attract the audiences. They love it and wanted more. The crowds were satisfied and they enjoyed our songs. We finished playing, we got off the stage and Refugee, the malaysian hip-hop group, came to perform, their crowd was way far more wild than other performers. After that we pack up our equipments and ready to go off for dinner at Damasara Perdana to one of the bistros. It was almost midnight, we send Darren back to USJ. We enjoyed working with him, so Darren was our hero for the day. He gave us a big help and we really owe him a big one. Anyway, if there is the next gig coming up, we surely will post to inform again. I'm sure you want to go and see our performance.Anyway thats all for the post.In the future, we will organize more gigs and write more songs.God Bless You all and continue to shine for Jesus.
